Description

The guide describes, through practical examples, how social aspects can be taken into account at different stages of a procurement process. The guide describes what kind of requirements are laid out for responsible procurement in the Act of Public Procurement and other relevant acts, and the approaches to social responsibility adopted by different contracting entities. The connection between public procurement and trafficking in human beings is mentioned in the sections on supplier sustainability requirements and abnormally low tenders.
