Description | The National Action Plan foresees that it will be implemented in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the UN Agenda 2030. The National Action Plan refers to supply chains already in the Statement of Commitment : “To protect human rights, Italy undertakes to: (…) Reinforce, cooperate with and develop industrial relations between social partners and multi-stakeholders’ initiatives to achieve better implementation of human rights in the conduction of economic activities, in specific business sectors and along the entire supply chain.” Supply chains are also addressed in the sections on: • Government responses: current activities and future commitments; • Responsible business conduct and OECD Due Diligence; • Supporting business respect for human rights in conflict-affected areas; • Ensuring policy coherence. |
